Voice signal received by the EP670E and digitalized by a high performance vocoder, encrypted and transmitted over a Bluetooth link (BT) to a mobile phone which acts a GSM data modem.
The remote mobile telephone receives the encrypted data which is transmitted to the associated EP670E via a Bluetooth link. Decrypted data is converted back to voice and reproduced by the EP670E. The system is full duplex, so both ends can speak and listen simultaneously.
In both cases the information on the Bluetooth link, is encrypted. The key features of the EP670E personal crypto are:
