The Digital RF Memory (DRFM) board is designed to digitize and store the RF input signal from 400KHz to 200MHz in digital form and reconstruct the RF signal back whenever it is required. It consists of Virtex II Pro FPGA, Hammerhead SHARC DSP, high-speed ADC and DAC, RF transformers and low pass filter.
The DRFM Board works in four different modes:
- Target Simulation
- Continuous Wave Sweep
- Gaussian noise generation
- Built-in self test
