The Portable Media Player (PMP) is portable audio/video player built around the Blackfin processor from Analog Devices. The reference design allows playback of content from HDD and SD onto a TV or a 3.6" TFT landscape LCD display. The platform allows for recording audio-video data into the HDD & SD Card. In addition HDD content may be exchanged using USB interface

Supporting multiple audio formats(MP3,AAC, AC-3, WMA,Ogg Vorbis), image files(MPEG-4,DivX 3.xx/4.12/5.xx,WMV and Xvid 1.0) from a storage media(HDD,SD), the reference design provides a turn-key solution to consumer electronics OEM's & ODM's.
