Dear Customer,

Welcome to another issue of Infowaves. In this edition, we introduce the latest small form factor, high-performance 820 Nano SOM which is based on the powerful Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 820 processor. Measuring just 51mm x 26mm, this is one of the smallest Snapdragon based System on Modules (SOMs) currently available in the market. The 820 Nano SOM is an ideal component for developing small footprint, next-gen miniature products. With this design, Mistral joins an ecosystem of Snapdragon technology providers and will be providing design and development services on Qualcomm Technologies’ Snapdragon platforms.

It gives me great pleasure to share that Mistral was conferred with the prestigious Defense Technology Absorption Award from DRDO for our contribution to India's AEW&C program. Mistral was involved in the design and development of several sub-systems for the AEW&C Program that included the RADAR Processing Unit, DF System and Antenna Control Unit.

We also present to you a case study on Software Test Automation Framework developed by Mistral. Also featured is an application note on using the i.MX6 Nano SOM from Mistral for designing electronics for drones. Drones are evolving into sophisticated, feature-rich systems that can perform a myriad of functions and the iMX6 Nano SoM addresses the image/video capture and media streaming requirement for these applications.

We are proud to announce that Mistral was conferred with the prestigious Defence Technology Absorption Award from DRDO for our contribution to India's AEW&Cs program. Mistral was involved in the design and development of several sub-systems for the AEW&C Program that included the RADAR Processing Unit, DF System and Antenna Control Unit. Mujahid Alam, CEO, Mistral Solutions, was presented with the award by the Hon'ble Defense & Finance Minister, Mr. Arun Jaitley at a formal ceremony at DRDO Bhawan, in New Delhi on 24th March 2017, Friday.Read More..
