Connext DDS Cert

Safety-Certifiable Connectivity Platform for safety and mission-critical Industrial IoT systems, based on the Object Management Group (OMG) Data Distribution Service (DDS) standard, with small memory footprint, bundled source code, and DO-178C Level A Certification Package.

Connext DDS Cert

Overview

Connext® DDS Cert from RTI is a safety-certifiable communications infrastructure with an available DO-178C Level A Certification Package based on the Object Management Group (OMG) and Data Distribution Service (DDS) standards. The Connext DDS Cert is the only off-the-shelf connectivity framework certifiable to Design Assurance Level (DAL) A, the highest level of the DO-178C standard.

Empowering Industrial IoT system architects, Connext DDS Cert stands as a safety-certifiable connectivity framework, poised to improve the landscape of connectivity solutions to build open and modular, safety-critical and real-world systems. Powerful run-time libraries enables developers with high-level publish/subscribe communication APIs that simplify application logic while eliminating the need for custom networking code. This can result in the preservation of tens of thousands of lines of application software and mitigates the necessity to create the associated certification documentation, thereby avoiding years of work and saving millions of dollars in expenses.

Connext DDS Cert complies with the most stringent certification requirements and is available with out-of-box, reusable certification evidence to streamline certification.
