Supports Linux Embedded and Android, with Qualcomm AI Stack and SDKs for optimized on-device AI and real-time edge inferencing.

The MRD8550 SOM supports both LE (Linux Embedded) and LU (Linux  Ubuntu), offering the flexibility to choose between power efficiency and feature-rich environments for development platforms. This enables the rapid development of IoT products, with Linux kernel 5.15 providing long-term product support. 

 

The software also supports the Qualcomm AI Stack, equipping OEMs and developers with tools to integrate advanced AI capabilities. AI models already developed on the Qualcomm AI Stack can be easily loaded and deployed, with support for popular frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and ONNX, as well as runtimes such as TensorFlow Lite and ONNX Runtime. With the included Qualcomm Neural Processing SDK, developers can optimize AI models for real-time performance, making it ideal for applications in flight safety, visual localization, and more.
