DTRM

An S-Band based Dual Transmitter Receiver Module (DTRM) with a GaN-based Power Amplifier that helps minimize the size and complexity of the overall amplifier module while ensuring increased efficiency and high-power operation of a radar system.

Transmitter Receiver Module, DTRM S-Band Dual Transmitter Receiver Module

Overview

Mistral’s S-Band Dual Transmitter Receiver Module (DTRM) is a Dual Transmitter Receiver Module with a GaN-based Power Amplifier which helps reduce the size and complexity of the overall amplifier module. It also enables high-power operation and enhances efficiency of a Radar System. The Transmitter Receiver Module is composed of distinct components: the Receiver card, Transmitter card, and Digital card. This modular arrangement optimizes flexibility and functionality.

The Dual Transmitter Receiver Module encompasses two identical Transmitter Receiver (T/R) chains having two independent TX OUT/RX IN antenna connectors. Dual Transmitter REceiver Module, DTRM has a common TX IN/RX OUT connector further optimizing the size and efficiency of the Radar System. Efficient control of input drive power for Transmit chains and the management of return signals from receive chains are accomplished through the effective use of a power divider/combiner mechanism.
